This video shows how to replace a typical Revere or GE movement in it's case.



This shows the rotor/coil assembly and a diagram of how it is attached to the movement. If you are removing the rotor follow these steps
  • Loosen the set screw on the rotor gear.
  • Remove the two screws holding the coil/rotor assemble to the movement.
  • Slide the coil and rotor back, removing the gear on the rotor shaft so it will pass through the opening.
  • Remove the rotor from the coil arms.
  • Reassemble in reverse order.
